Thank you for your interest in a commissioned portrait from Shil Studios. Each piece is created with care, intention, and deep respect for the subject. Please review the policies below before placing your request.

Commission Process: 

1. Submit your request with photographs via the contact form.

2. Shil Studios reviews images and confirms feasibility.

3. Size, pricing, and timeline are agreed upon.

4. A deposit is collected to begin work.

5. Final preview is shared before shipment.

Clear, well-lit, high-resolution photographs are essential for best results.

Sizes Offered:

Standard commission sizes:

• 8 x 8 inches
• 9 x 12 inches

Custom sizes may be available upon request and priced individually.

Deposits & Payment:

• A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to begin any portrait.
• Work will not start until the deposit is received.
• The remaining balance is due after final approval and prior to shipping.

Payments are handled directly after consultation.

Timeline:

Portrait completion typically ranges from 3–6 weeks depending on size, detail, and current commission volume.

Revisions:

• One round of minor revisions is included after the preview.
• Additional or major changes may incur extra charges.

Shipping:

• Shipping available within the continental United States only.
• Artwork is shipped unframed.
• Each portrait is carefully packaged with protective backing and sleeve.
• Shipping costs are added to the final invoice.

Framing may be available upon request for an additional fee.

Returns & Refunds:

• All commissioned artwork is custom and personal.
• All sales are final. No refunds or returns.
